The Next Seminar
The London Petrophysical Society announces a one day seminar focused on: "Petrophysics in Unconventional Gas Reservoirs" Seminar
Tuesday 23rd March, 2010 at the Geological Society, London
Who Should Attend?
Petrophysicists, geologists, reservoir engineers, technical assistants and support staff; all those who are involved or interested in; subsurface data acquisition and associated technology in unconventional reservoirs.
Why?
Tight gas, shale gas and coal seam gas reservoirs are growing in importance. An understanding of petrophysics in the reservoirs is vital. New tools and techniques are required to analyse reservoir potential and optimise field performance.
The Technical Program Includes:
Presentations that cover the latest tools for unconventional gas reservoir logging and data acquisition; integration of core analysis and log data and case studies to demonstrate how these techniques can be applied to answer critical formation evaluation questions.
Presentations By:
Presentation will be made by service providers, universities and gas companies including: BG Group, Centrica, Halliburton, Leeds University, Leicester University, Schlumberger and Weatherford.
Registration Cost:
£150 for LPS/PESGB/AFES/SPE Members
£175 for Non-Members
LPS is not VAT registered.
